Programs
Research shows that a child's first years are critical to development. Solid grounding in social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills is essential for children to enter kindergarten ready to learn and reach their full potential. The Center has developed and implemented Successful Start, a program designed to enhance the ability of each child to enter kindergarten with age-appropriate developmental skills.

The Center's goals are to:
  • Meet the social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs of each child through a concrete, play-oriented program.
  • Identify children with special needs that may affect their development and learning, to provide the needed early intervention services, and to integrate the children into the regular classroom.
  • Promote strong families to support children as they grow and develop.
  • Provide staff with the support and training necessary to work with children and families with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Maintain a quality early childhood program with a stable, professionally trained staff.
